Let’s set the scene. The Wine House, a historic landmark in Los Angeles with its world class inventory of fine wines, had endured years of leaks, 17 years in fact. Problem was the only way to repair the roof was to remove the air conditioning units and redo the roof but they couldn’t turn off the air conditioners!
A cellular satellite as well as restaurant equipment, HVAC units, duct-work could not be shut down or removed without interrupting cellular phone service and business operations. A refrigerated truck would have to be brought in to keep the wine at various temperatures.
SureCoat Systems provided a world class solution to protect their valuable inventory. The contractor coated the entire roof, drains, plenums, ducting and all the roof penetrations with the SureCoat Roof System, and for the first time in years, The Wine House has no leaks and the few ponds that remain are water-tight, guaranteed for 10 years. (SRS has the only ponding water guarantee in the business that’s good past 48 hours). The Wine House didn’t miss one minute of business. Because of SureCoat’s low V.O.C’s there was no smell that offended the delicate pallets of the wine-tasters.
SureCoat Systems also provided superior reflectivity and thermal emittance which means The Wine House can provide a more stable temperature for its wine with less heating and cooling costs.
We forgot to mention that after a good cleaning and re-coating, SureCoat will renew the warranty providing another 10 years so The Wine House can operate in comfort and security for many years to come.
