The America Ride and Music Festival

SureCoat Systems was a proud sponsor and supporter of The America Ride and Music Festival held at Irvine Lake in Orange County, California.  The America Ride is an annual charity event produced by Lifestyle Cycles and organized to raise money in an effort to support our Veterans through The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation. The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation is a nonprofit organization that trains service dogs for our returning veterans with disabilities.

The America Ride

Beginning from the left on bass guitar and vocals, Jeff Cyran (Your SureCoat Install/Tech Support Rep), Noodles (Guitar player for hit band The Offspring), Darin Atchley on guitar and vocals, Karl Majick with lead guitar and vocals, in the back Kelly Chappue with lead vocals and Tony Brindley killing it on the drums. Jeff and this group of musicians formed the Anonymous Band over 10 years ago, fully dedicating their shows to fundraising for various nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California. The Anonymous Band has helped to raise hundreds of thousands in funds for so many great causes!

The SureCoat Team spent the weekend of May 21st and 22nd at Irvine Lake supporting our local community and Vets. Together, we helped to raise over $100,000 at The America Ride to support The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation. The weekend was filled with entertainment, food and fun including concert style music performances, finger licking good BBQ, and hundreds of vendors; all who came out in an effort to raise money for The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation.

Many of the retired military veterans that are in need of a service animal cannot afford them.  The cost to raise, care for and fully train a service dog is approximately $36,000 but the change that it makes in the lives of the Vet that each dog serves is priceless! According to The Department of Veterans Affairs, 22 American Veterans take their own lives each and every day. Together we can help bring that number from 22 to ZERO! To date not one person that has received a service dog from The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation has committed suicide and most have recovered from various disabilities brought home from the battlefields including Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation is dedicated to providing service dogs to the men and women who fight for our freedom and allow us to live the lives we choose.  See how you can help by visiting their website at www.PatrioticServiceDogFoundation.org.
